POWER (Personal Opportunities with Employment Responsibilities) Program. POWER is the name of the Federal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program in Wyoming. The POWER program is a time limited program which provides cash assistance to individuals or couples with dependent children in working on a plan to become self sufficient through employment, schooling or other resources. POWER is limited to 60 months in a lifetime.
